ORIENT SMITH

守護獣である獅子をモチーフにオリジナルで造形した獅子リング。
両サイドには割り菊、額には太陽紋。

日本の狛犬、沖縄シーサーのルーツである獅子は一説では古代オリエントのライオン像文化がシルクロードを通りインド、中国などを通り飛鳥時代に仏教とともに日本に伝わったとされています。

邪気を祓い身を守る御守りとしての願いを込めて製作致しました。

An original lion ring with a motif of a lion, which is a guardian beast.
There is a wari chrysanthemum on both sides and a sun crest representing the sun on the forehead.

According to one theory, lion statues, which are the roots of Japanese Komainu and Okinawa Shisa, were brought to Japan along with Buddhism in the Asuka period through India and China through the Silk Road.

I made it with my wish as a talisman to ward off evil spirits and protect myself.
