In ancient times, natural elements such as the sun, moon, stars, animals,
and plants were deeply intertwined with people's lives and cherished as symbols of prayer and faith.

These symbols embody the wishes, prayers, and hopes for the future of the people who lived in those eras.

These symbols have been passed down through generations, evolving in form over long periods,
and continue to hold meaning in the present day.

ORIENT SMITH draws inspiration from the symbolism inherent in the history,
religion, and culture of both ancient Japan and the West, cherishing a spirit of revival and innovation in its craftsmanship.

We aim to elevate the meanings and ideas inherited from the past into contemporary forms,
expressing them as new value.

兵庫県西宮市のオーダーメイドジュエリーの会社で宝飾加工技術を学ぶ。
2014年 厚生労働大臣認定 一級貴金属装身具製作技能士資格 取得
2016年 KIUCHI HAND CRAFT 設立
2017年 イギリスのアパレルブランド【 DAWSONDENIM】
とパートナーシップを結び、海外展開をスタート
2017年 オリジナルブランド 【 ORIENT SMITH 】スタート

After graduating from an art school in Osaka,
he studied jewelry processing technology at a custom-made jewelry company
in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture for 10 years.
2014 Obtained the first-class precious metal jewelry manufacturing technician qualification certified
by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare.
2016 KIUCHI HAND CRAFT established.
2017 Partnered with British apparel brand【 DAWSONDENIM 】and began overseas expansion.
2017 Launched original brand【 ORIENT SMITH. 】
