双蛇護腕（そうじゃ ごわん）

二匹の蛇が注連縄のように絡み合うバングルは、日本と西洋それぞれの蛇の象徴を融合させたデザインです。

日本では、蛇信仰は縄文時代から根付いており、蛇は古来より豊穣や再生の象徴とされてきました。

一方、西洋では、蛇はウロボロスなどを通じて、永遠の命や循環を象徴しています。

二匹の蛇が描く螺旋は、しめ縄の結界を連想させ、再生や生命の神秘、境界を守る力を象徴しています。

今回は異なる素材や宝石を用いず、一色で統一することで、より注連縄としての一体感を追求しました。

その螺旋を腕に纏い、調和と繁栄を祈る護符として。

古来より続く生命のリズムと幸運への願いを込めて。

Souja Gowan (Twin Serpent Bangle)

This bangle, featuring two snakes intertwined like a *shimenawa* (sacred straw rope), fuses the symbolic meanings of the snake found in both Japanese and Western traditions.

In Japan, snake worship dates back to the Jomon period, with the creature long revered as a symbol of fertility and rebirth.

In the West, meanwhile, the snake—often depicted as the Ouroboros—symbolizes eternal life and the cyclical nature of existence.

The spiral formed by the two snakes evokes the sacred boundary of a *shimenawa*, symbolizing rebirth, the mysteries of life, and the power to guard sacred spaces.

For this piece, we opted for a monochromatic design—avoiding the use of contrasting materials or gemstones—to emphasize the unified aesthetic of the *shimenawa*.

Wear this spiral around your wrist as a talisman, a prayer for harmony and prosperity.
